Lane graduated from Killeen High School before going to work as a Level 3 Security Officer for Marksman Security. Lane was a Christian and was non-denominational. He was an avid gamer and loved playing numerous games. Lane was a bright light in this world, and he will be deeply missed by his many family friends.
Lane leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Nicole Johnson, father Robert VanPietersom, stepmother Rebecca VanPietersom, sisters Kaitlyn Hobbs, Jessica Rodriguez, and Jessica Cheatham, brothers Anthony Rodriguez, and Youness Mougadem. Also surviving are his aunt Teresa Greenburg, cousin Jordan Greenburg, grandmother Laurie Pollock, Grandmother Karen Odom, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Gonzalez and Odom family and his loving cat, Ivory.
A memorial service will be held at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 1 o'clock p.m.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with these arrangements.
