Robert Vetell, age 62, of Rosemount passed away suddenly of natural causes on July 14, 2025. Proceeded in death by his parents, Robert R, Clara, and sister Marie. Survived by his wife Maureen (Kunesh), sisters, Val Lorenzen, and Anita Bates, also by many loving relatives and friends. Rob was an all-around great guy and if you knew him, you knew that. He was a loving brother and uncle, loyal friend, devoted Pap Pap, a proud Godparent to Ben Lorenzen and Kayla Scheeler, and the love of my life. He loved rock 'n' roll, and his CD collection is nothing short of legendary. A time capsule of passion, rhythm, rebellion and joy. He also loved and lived for sports. He not only watched it. He knew it; the stats, the players, the history. Ask him anything sports related and he'd have the answer and probably a story to go with it. His absence is heavy. The silence where the music played, the quiet where his laughter should be, the empty space beside me where he stood so tall and strong. But in every note of a good Rock song, in every game on TV, in the stories and laughter of our grandkids, he's there. We were so lucky to have known him. To have been loved by him, to have witnessed the way he moved through this world with heart and loyalty. May we carry his spirit forward with a good playlist, a ball in hand and with joy, kindness, and love. Rest easy, my love. I'll be seeing you in all the best things.
