Robert "Bob" Earl Warren, age 87 of Lake City, passed away on July 3, 2025 at home surrounded by family. Bob was born on November 23, 1937 in Detroit, MI.
He attended Redford High School and went on to play football and earned his Bachelors in education at Central Michigan University. Bob then obtained his Masters degree from Eastern Michigan. Bob taught and coached wrestling at Grosse Ile, MI before retiring in 1990 to Northern Michigan. He was married to his wife Linda for 40 years, and together they enjoyed traveling all over the United States.
Bob loved all things outdoors, including hunting, fishing, gardening and especially fly fishing alongside a beautiful quite stream. He was a history buff and never missed a Sunday morning crossword puzzle.
Bob is survived by his wife Linda, children; Mark, Curt, Kelly (Phil), Jennifer (Tony), Jeff, Sheryl, and Jeri (Mike), grandchildren; Nicholas, Steven, Gavin, Mason, Elizabeth, James, Natalie and Jake, great-grandchildren; Grayson, Jose, Simon, brother John and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Toby and grandson Garrett.
A celebration of Bob's life will take place at a later date, in lieu of flowers, the family ask's that any memorial contributions be made to Munson Hospice of Cadillac. The family is being served by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain, thoughts and prayers can be expressed to the family by visiting the online obituary at burkholderfamilyfuneralhome.com
