Rodney Coleman Obituary

On Thursday, January 9, 2025, Rodney Lee Matthew Coleman passed away at the age of 68. He was a lifelong resident of McDonoughville, LA. Rodney is preceded in death by his parents Burnett J. and Stella R. (Gougis) Coleman; his maternal grandparents Alex and Edna (Anderson) Gougis; his paternal grandparents Joseph and Sarah (Hicks) Smith; his nephew Jerel B. Coleman and his brother Felton J. Coleman. He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers-John B. Coleman (Geneva), Glenn E. Coleman and Reginald J. Coleman (JoeAnn); one sister-Katherine C. Jackson (Richard); his loving children-Kimberley Bridgewater-Edwards, Jacque Coleman, Marcus Coleman and Deshawn Coleman; three grandchildren-Kayla Edwards, Jordan Edwards and Michael Edwards and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church, 1441 Teche St., Algiers, LA 70114 on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:00am.
