NOTICE: Hills, MN
Rodney R. Hadler, age 83 of Hills, MN died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Visitation will be Monday, April 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with family present at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hills, MN.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hills, MN with the Rev. Lori Bonkoski officiating.
Interment will follow the service at the Beaver Creek Cemetery, Beaver Creek, MN.
Rodney Raymond Hadler was born May 17, 1941, in Luverne, MN to Raymond and Thelma (Schmuck) Hadler. He was raised and graduated from High School in Beaver Creek in 1959.
On January 13, 1960, he was united in marriage to Carol Arp, and they shared 65 years of marriage together. To this union five children were born. As a family they lived in Luverne, Valley Springs, on the family farm north of Beaver Creek and Hills.
Rodney enjoyed fishing, farming, watching many sports, golfing with family and friends up until last October, family barbecues, Fourth of July celebrations, family camping trips, trips to the Black Hills and Mexico, and taking pristine care of his yard and landscaping. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rodney passed away at the Sanford hospital this past Wednesday at the age of 83. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; Hills, children Danette (Doug) Deragisch; Marshall, Mark (Brenda) Hadler; Edgerton and Tracy (Craig) Soehl; Marshall, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Rodney was preceded in death by his sons, Brad Hadler and Kelly Hadler; and parents, Raymond and Thelma Hadler.
