LEWISTON - Roger J. Nadeau, "Captain Hook", 80, of Lewiston died Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Marshwood Center in Lewiston with his loving brother and sister-in-law and amazing hospice nurse by his side. He was born in Sabattus on September 25, 1944, a son of the late Albert and Leonide (Fontaine) Nadeau.
His positive outlook for life, willingness to help others in need, and easy going personality will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his son, Richard Nadeau and his wife Lisa; his granddaughter Shelby; and great-granddaughter Nyla all of Lewiston; his two sisters, Pauline Pinard of Sabattus and Terry Strout of Manchester, as well as his brother Raymond Nadeau and his wife Edna of Biddeford. He was predeceased by his siblings Cecile, Muriel, Albert, Tony, Leo, Roland, Adrien, and Lorrette.
His family will be forever grateful for the compassionate care and dignity shown by everyone at Marshwood Center and Affinity Hospice.
Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by a Liturgy of the Word Service at 1 PM, also at the funeral home.
