Rohan Lawry Clement Pemberton, 63 of
Manchester, CT. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. His loving and devoted Wife Chanier was right by his side. Rohan was born on January 17, 1963, to the late Clement Pemberton and Olive Thompson in St. Kitts, Nevis. He was raised by his Father and his Mom, Pearline Pemberton. Rohan was educated in St. Croix and attended Eulalie R. Rivera Elementary School, Arthur A. Richards Junior High School and St. Croix Central High School, where he proudly earned his High School Diploma. His time spent in St. Croix, helped shape the foundation of the hardworking and dedicated man he would become.
In 1985, Rohan moved to
Boston, MA. and relocated to CT. in 1987. He was employed by Cleary Millwork for 23 years and retired from Cametoid Technologies, Inc. after 14 years of dedicated service. Landscaping was his passion. In 1996, he met Chanier Coyle, who would become the love of his life. Rohan gave his life to Christ in 1997, and they were united in holy matrimony on August 22, 1998. Together, they blended their families into one, creating a strong and loving foundation, built on faith in God.
He was a dedicated servant of God for many years at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Larry D. Couch, serving as an ordained Deacon and Trustee. He was a current member of Crossroads Community Cathedral. Rohan's greatest pride and joy was his family, especially his Grandchildren, who bought immense happiness to his life. He was a loving and proud Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend. Rohan will be sorely missed by his loving Wife, of 27 years, Chanier Pemberton, his Children, Tyshawn (Amy) Pemberton, Shamya Pemberton, Shane Pemberton, Tyron Chapman, Takia Covington, Chatavia (Kevin) Willingham, Saquanna Robinson, Winona Francis.
15Grandchildren,Travon, Mia, Ava, Michael, Jayden, Z'Nyah, KeeMaj, Anyah, Sage, Jalaiya, Amaree, Amya, Zailynn, Gianna, Kyaire and 1 Great Grandchild, Laylani. His siblings, May Gene (Roosevelt) Owens, Verlene Thompson, Leroy Thompson, Corinne Thompson Calvert Thompson, Kishanda Thompson. His Mother In Law, Jean Mathis , Father In Law, Lloyd Coyle Sr. and a host of Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends.
The Pembertons opened their home to several children for a period of 14 years as Foster Parents. Rohan will be deeply missed by all that loved and knew him. His memories will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends and all whose lives he touched.
