Ron G. Mason, age 76, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, in Gainesville, Georgia, with his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Barbara Ford Mason, by his side.

Born on February 1, 1949, in Anniston, Alabama, Ron lived a life marked by joy, kindness, and a deep devotion to those he loved. He is survived by Barbara, and their children Leslie Mason Le Hir (Ollivier), Justin Andrew Mason (Dana), and Holly Mason Gregory (Mark) and by his cherished grandchildren: Jake, Joshua, Brooklyn, Kinsley, Andrew, and Sarah Kate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Gay Mason and Irene Benefield Mason, and his brother Danny James Mason.

Ron leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. To know Ron was to feel at ease - he had a rare gift for turning strangers into friends and filling any room with laughter, often thanks to one of his many stories. His storytelling, generosity, and steady presence were constant in the lives of those around him.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Gainesville, where family and friends will gather to honor a life well lived and deeply loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ministry of Caring at https:// pushpay.com/g/fbcgainesville?src=hpp, a cause close to Ron's heart.
