Ronald Jay “Ron” Jensen, 66, of Ogden, Utah, passed on October 6, 2025. Born on July 24, 1959, in Ogden, Ron was the cherished son of Harold and Evelyn Jensen.
A proud and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Ron’s easygoing spirit and sense of humor brightened the lives of everyone he met. Known for his quick wit and playful teasing, he could make anyone laugh—except perhaps when caught in heavy traffic, where his colorful vocabulary became legendary.
For 24 years, Ron dedicated himself to his work at Pride Transport, where he was respected for his reliability, good nature, and camaraderie. Outside of work, he was an avid gamer and found joy and lasting friendships in his online community. Above all, Ron loved his family deeply and shared a special bond with his son, Trizdin. He also had many long-time friends he called family.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; his son, Trizdin; brothers Bob and Larry; sisters Cindy and Lorrie; and many friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Evelyn; one brother and 3 sisters.
A celebration of life in his honor will be announced at a later date. Everyone that knew him, loved him.
