Left to mourn Ronnie's loss are his daughters, Lauren Hall, Ashleigh Sommers (Scott), and Kyleigh Porter; his sisters, Vicki Porter and Mary Hayes; his brother, John Porter (Marcel); his lifelong friend and honorary brother, Stevie Porter; his dear friend Karen Peppers; many nieces and nephews; two grandbabies, Henry and Eleanor Sommers; and his grand-dog, Ella.
Ronnie was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, and in true American fashion his family will hold a day of observance before his Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 5th, 2025 at Welch Funeral Home in Montross Virginia. Friends are welcomed to come share happy memories of Ronnie Porter from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. that afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Veterans Association.
