Rosalie F. D'Angelo "Nana", 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025 in her favorite spot on her patio.
The beloved wife of the late John Cusimano, Sr.; cherished mother of Scott (Debbie) Cusimano, Johnny (Judy) Cusimano, Jr., Ellan Cusimano and the late Eddie (the late Mary) Cusimano; treasured Nana of Nico Cusimano, Siri Cusimano, Angela (Danny) Gleason, John (Lori) Cusimano III and Greg (Michelle) Cusimano; great grand-Nana of Brandon Descant, Matthew Gleason, Jordan Cusimano, Kaitlyn Cusimano, Lauren Cusimano, Brittany Monk, Alexa Cusimano, Greg Cusimano, Jr.; great-great grand-Nana of Austin Kate; dear sister of Tommy D'Angelo, Gloria Martin, Frank D'Angelo and was preceded by Philomena Ippolito, Manny D'Angelo, Peter D'Angelo, John D'Angelo, Marie Pavlock and Joseph D'Angelo. Nana was a loving sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.
Nana was a true firecracker personality. She worked constantly to provide for Scott after being widowed from John. She loved cooking, eventually owning her own restaurant in Covington, LA. Nana loved spending time with her family, playing cards, music and helping take care of Scott and Debbie's children when they were young. Nana will be remembered for her manicured nails and wearing her bling.
Visitation will be at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles 63304, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 pm, with the visitation to continue until 6:00 pm after the funeral services. Nana will be interred at Greenwood Wood Cemetery in New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00 am.
