Rose Brown Obituary

Rose Ann Brown, 73, of Martinsburg, WV passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
Rose was born May 3, 1952 in Moatsville, WV. She was the daughter of the late Andrew George Funk and Della Mae Rodeheaver Funk.
Rose was a custodian at Spring Mills Middle School.
She was very charitable, selfless, kind and would do anything for anybody.
She is survived by her son, George William Brown, IV (Patricia), of Waterford, New York; grandchildren, Christian Brown (Desserie), of Martinsburg, WV, Amaya Brown, of Waterford, New York; great-grandchild, Matthew Bleu Brown; sister, Mary Miner, of West Virginia; brother, David Funk, of North Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Funk, Carolyn Wotring.
Services will be held at noon Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson, WV
Interment will be private.
Friends will be received 10 a.m. to noon Friday, July 11 at the funeral home.
