On July 6, 2025 Rose Marie Chiabrera (nee Papa) passed away; devoted wife of the late Manlio Chiabrera; devoted mother of Raymond Dix and his wife Ruth, Anthony Dix and his wife Regina, and Alexander Sokal; dear sister of Gus Papa and his wife Peggy, and Catherine Schaub. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Catholic Church, 1212 Chesaco Ave., Rosedale, MD 21237, on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 2 - 4, and 6 - 8 pm.
Interment at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery

Rose was a very special lady. We missed her when we moved and we think of her often. She was a wonderful neighbor for years. So kind and giving and we love the time we spent with her. Prayers for the family.
