Rosemary "Rosie" (Huss) Janes, 73, of Attica, beloved wife, mother, grandma, and the undisputed World's Best Coleslaw Maker, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at United Memorial Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Louie Janes, and her children: Johnny LaVarnway, Stacey (Eli) Harris, Kristin (Jim) Rozewski, Jason (Darlene) Janes, Eric Janes, and her beloved dog Sparky.

She was the proud and loving Grandma to Jackie, Ryan, and Hunter Janes, Eli and Ellie Harris, and Oliver and Milo Rozewski.

Rosie is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Doris Huss, her siblings Rick (Bev) Huss, Edward "Buddy" Huss, Janet (Dan) Burch and her grandson Mason Harris. She is survived by her siblings Keith (Debbie) Everets, Dorrie Detras and Shelley (Dave) Benedict and many nieces and nephews.

Rosie will be forever remembered for her unwavering love and care of her family, her sweetness, sense of humor and easy going personality.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Attica on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm pm, with a memorial service to follow. A celebration of life will be held at Louie's in Attica on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosie's Memory to the Attica Rescue Squad:11 Water Street, Attica, NY 14011 or Gateway Home: 91 Main St, Attica, NY 14011 in Rosie's memory.
