Rosemary Genivieve Rhoden, age 87 of New London, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Meadowbrook in Appleton. Rosemary was born on March 12, 1938 in Hortonville to the late Louis and Alice (Anthony) Collar. She married Robert Rhoden Sr. on September 24, 1955. Rosemary loved watching soap operas, playing Bingo, and volleyball with fellow residents at Meadowbrook. She had the "gift of gab", had many nicknames, and was always interested in what others were doing. Rosemary collected birdhouses and enjoyed feeding the birds.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Robert (Tiffany) Rhoden Jr., Staci (Daniel) Noworatzky and Traci (Doug) Schultz; her siblings, Terry and James Collar and Debbie (Lee) Gehrke; grandchildren, Patrick Rhoden, Samantha (Nicholas) Bendixen, Eli Noworatzky, Robert Patterson, Ian Van Rossum and Alex (Amber Werth) Rhoden along with great-grandchildren, Adrian Springer, Rylee Rhoden, Aubree Rhoden and Lincoln Rhoden. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis Collar Jr., Leroy, Richard, Dennis and Frederick Collar and special friend, John Sasse.
The Funeral Service for Rosemary will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, Wisconsin, with Father David Hoffman as celebrant. The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Manor Care for the compassionate care given to Rosemary.
