Roy Bobbitt Obituary

Roy Lee Bobbitt, age 77, of Grapeland passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his home. Roy was born July 20, 1947 in Crockett, Texas to parents, John Roy Bobbitt and Dorothy Lee Pyle Bobbitt. He was a graduate of Glover High School, had worked as a plumber, also worked at a Chevrolet Dealership as a parts manager. Roy Lee served many years as a pastor and was currently employed at the Cherokee Warehouse. He was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Dialville.
Roy Lee is survived by wife of 59 years, Linda Bobbitt of Weches; son, Reagan Bobbitt and wife, Sherrell of Grapeland; grandchildren, Jordan Bobbitt and wife, Ashton of Grapeland, Alex Bobbitt of Grapeland; great-grandchildren, Caspian, Braven, and Temperance; sister, Barbara Ann Peterson of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Dorothy Lee Bobbitt; brothers, John Harold Bobbitt, Charlie Bobbitt, Jerry Ray Bobbitt.
Funeral services for Roy Lee Bobbitt will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Dialville First Apostolic Church. Interment to follow at Weches Cemetery, 250 County Road 1580, Grapeland, TX 75844. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service.
