Roy Calip Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 10, 2025.
Roy Pascua Calip, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on May 12, 1953, in South Korea, Roy built a remarkable life rooted in love, dedication, and community.
For over 40 years, Roy was a respected chiropractor in Modesto, where he touched countless lives through his skill, compassion, and genuine care for his patients. Beyond his professional achievements, Roy's greatest pride and joy came from his family - his loving wife Patricia Calip; his son Dirk Alexander; his daughter Lisa McMahan; and his cherished grandchildren: Ryan Alexander and Sharnai Wright. Roy was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren, who added even more joy to his life.
Roy's passion for life extended far beyond his work and family. He was devoted to fitness and health, playing college football, pursuing bodybuilding, and earning a second-degree black belt. Roy loved to run, often participating in 5K and 10K races, and inspired those around him to embrace an active lifestyle.
Known throughout the Central Valley for his warmth and enthusiasm, Roy had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcome. His energy, kindness, and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone he met. To know Roy was to experience genuine friendship, laughter, and encouragement.
His passing is a tremendous loss to all who had the honor of knowing him. Roy's legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the countless memories his family and friends will cherish forever.
