Roy James Farve, Sr. age 82, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Beloved husband of 48 years to the late Linda Farve. Survived by his girlfriend/partner, Kathy Hornosky. Son of the late Willie Sr and Edna Farve. Loving father of Sharon Farve Marshall, Roy Farve, Jr (Helene), Charlene Eymard (fiancé, Edwin Verdin) and Chris Farve (Melissa). Loving grandfather of Heather, Sarah, Claire, Bradley, Ashley, Lindsey, Reece, Tyler and Dane. Roy is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Brother of Thomas Farve and the late Willie Farve Jr. Robert “Bobby” Farve and Jessie Farve. Roy loved to fish, hunt, and being outdoors. He was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, March 13, 2024 at 1pm. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10am until 1pm. Interment, Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Family and friends can view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com.
