Roy Barry Weldon, 76, entered into rest Sunday September 18, 2022 at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of Lynn M. (Maxey) Weldon for 10 years.
A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ's American Baptist Church, 730 Menges Mills Road Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Rev. Joshua Trojak officiating. Visitation is half hour prior to service. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., West York, is assisting with the arrangements.
Mr. Weldon was born June 29, 1946 in Altmar, NY, a son of the late Roy M. and Muriel W. (Kaine) Weldon. He was a graduate of APW High School and Houghton College. Barry had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned several businesses throughout his life in order to serve others. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, spending time with his wife, Lynn, dog, Eli, family & friends. He was actively interested in history, politics and Syracuse sports. Barry served in the Army Reserves as well as served as a Church Board Member, Little League Coach, Lions Club President and was involved in numerous other community organizations throughout his life.
Barry is survived by his wife; children Aimee Moul and her husband Matt, Mark Weldon and his wife Adrienne, Erin Schutter and her husband Mike; grandchildren Andrew Moul, Sarah Moul Moore, and her husband Jacob, Kayla Moul, Molly Weldon, Annabel Schutter, Brantley Weldon; a sister Carol Rosenbarker and her husband Clay; nieces, nephews, and loving extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, or Animal Rescue.
