Royce is survived by his wife, Linn of Krugerville, TX; son, Royce Lyndol Carter and wife, Cindi, of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Joanna Lee Hayes and husband, Scott, of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, Kirsten, Katelyn, Krislin, Lilly, RJ, and Lucy; great-grandchild, Casey Carter; half-sister, Roxie Carter; aunt, Mary Dunaway, of Mineral Wells, TX; and best friend, Donny Shobert of Lubbock, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Giles and Lola and brother, Billy Giles Carter.
A service will be held Monday, June 30, 2025, at 3:00PM at Shawnee Trail Church of Christ, 10633 John W. Elliott Dr., Frisco, TX with Seth McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at Slay Bloomfield Jones Cemetery in Mountain Springs, TX.
