Royce Gene Kielman, 82 of Katy, passed from this life Friday, July 11, 2025, at home. Services will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, July 17, at New Sunset Community Church in Killeen. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.
Mr. Kielman was born on January 13, 1943, in Temple, Texas, to Albert and Nona Kielman. He was a resident of Killeen for 77 years, and relocated to Katy, Texas in 2020. Mr. Kielman owned R.G. Kielman Construction and spent most of his life building homes and commercial work for well-known Killeen area contractors. He retired in 2004. He had a great love for country music and dancing.
Mr. Kielman is preceded in death by his father, Albert Kielman; and mother, Nona Kielman.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma Kielman; daughters, Janice Silva (John), and Penny Okeke (Ifeanyi); four grandchildren, Garrett Bullard, Jonathan Bullard, Ashton Smithhart, and Amanda Osborne; and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Person, Curtis Person, Tyler Person, Clay Person, Gregg Abney, Garrett Bullard, Ifeanyi Okeke, and Amere Osborne.
Family will receive visitors at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, Wednesday July 16th from 4–7 pm.
