Mrs. Ruby Ann Foster Absher,80, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Westwood Hills Skilled Nursing Center.
Ruby was born on March 17, 1945 in Wilkes County to Jasper Vernon Foster and Anna Muriel Dagenhart Foster.
She was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. Ruby enjoyed sewing, singing and being with her family. She also worked as a former secretary and a housewife.
Ruby is proceeded in death by her parents; husband, McKinley Wayne Absher; daughter, Laura Renee Triplett; sister, Janice Glass; brothers, Craig Foster, Fred Foster, Rex Foster and great grandson, Kamryn Lafond.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Angela "Angie" Triplett Cheek, Sarah Lynett Triplett Wooten (Kent), Juanima Triplett Minton, Laytin Absher; sons, John Triplett (Andrea) Matthew Triplett; step daughter, Anita Lee; stepsons, Martin Absher (Iris), Michael Absher, 41 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be conducted by the family on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Boiling Springs Baptist Church in Purlear. The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 p.m. at Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
Rev. Joey Moore and Rev. Lance Wilson will be officiating.
