Rudolph (Rudy) Gomez Flores Sr.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rudolph "Rudy" Gomez Flores, who departed this life peacefully in his sleep on May 31, 2025, at the age of 81. Rudy joins his wife, Loretta, daughters, Susie Rubal, Teresa Gonzales, mother, Rita Romo, brothers, Emilio Flores (Gloria) and Richard Celis in eternal happiness.
Born in Ray, Arizona on March 3, 1944, Rudy was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He carried a quiet strength, a generous spirit, and a deep love for his family that shaped every aspect of his life. His sense of humor, unwavering loyalty, and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He spent his life dedicated to his country (Air Force), community (50 years as a Elk Member) and those around him, always offering a helping hand or wise words when needed. To his family, he was a pillar of strength and a source of endless love.
He is survived by his son, Rudolph Flores Jr (Yvette), sisters, Norma Celis, Sylvana Acevedo (Julian), grandchildren, David, Alicia, Christina, Robert, Brittany, Sylas, Noah and Fourteen great grandchildren who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives with the same kindness and integrity he exemplified.
Rudy's memory will be cherished by all who knew him on or off the golf course. Though he may be gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the fall in Kearny, Arizona. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Rudy's life.
Rest in peace, Rudy. You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
