Russel Dow Obituary

He was born on June 12, 1944 in Taylor to the late Russel and Edith (Huntsman) Dow. Russel served in the US Army from 1962-1965. He was a member of the AmVets Post 115 of Port Hope. He and June Baughman were united in marriage on April 30, 1966. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2023.
Russel's passion was racing cars, he was always up to go to the race track. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball, playing pool, and most of all loved being with his family.
He is survived by his children: Keith, Brenda, Rusty (Matt), Fred (Misty) Dow, grandchildren: Jeremy, Freddy (Karissa), Nathan, Michael, Christopher, Andrew (Amy), Anthony, Makayla (James Bond), and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife June, daughter-in-law: Donna, grandson Damon Dow, and granddaughter Jerrell.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place Sunday, August 3, from 11am-4pm, at the AmVets Hall in Port Hope.
Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Fuenral Home of Harbor Beach.
