Michael James Brandt, age 58, of Gardners PA, passed away on October 12, 2025, from injuries sustained from an accident.
He was born December 23, 1966, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
He is a 1985 graduate of Big Spring High School. Michael retired from Weavers of Wellsville after 31 years of service. Michael was an avid mountain biker, pilot and loved working outside. He also loved doing projects to improve his home and property. Jeeps were his passion along with a good lager beer, cuddling with his cats and listening to his favorite band “Starset”. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his wife Dina, they just celebrated 33 years of marriage; mother Sylvia Brandt, his brothers Bill and wife Lisa; their children, Melissa, William, and Elizabeth; Ken Brandt and his wife Julie and children Benjamin, Stephanie, Lukas, and step children Jacob and Jesse; mother- in- law, Nancy Hutton; father- in -law, Dave Hutton and wife Sandra; sisters- in law- Daneen Hutton and wife Sonya; Dionne Hutton and husband Robbie; Katie Rynard and husband Troy daughter Ali; also brothers-in-law Josh Moore and wife April; Jacob Moore and wife Karen and children Gavin, Conner, and Veronica.
Michael is in heaven hugging his father, William Howard Brandt who preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends and family for Mike at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hillside SPCA in Pottsville PA or York County SPCA.
