Ryan Russell Harris, 35, of Bennington, VT passed away suddenly on July 11, 2025. Ryan was born in Boise Idaho on February 27, 1990 and moved to North Pownal, VT at a young age. Ryan graduated Mount Anthony Union high school. He loved being a Chef de partie at Pearl's Place in Manchester. He enjoyed cooking, video games, 420, hiking, camping and spending time with family and friends. He loved his dog Nia. Ryan is survived by his daughter Alaina; Trenton Lawrence, who was like a son; his mother Janine Harris; his siblings Mercedes Harris, Megan Harris, Eric Harris, Amy Harris, Leo Harris, III, and Heather (Brett) Mould; Niece's/Nephews: William Harris, Daniel Morse, Tarrah, Ivery and Rayven Hurley, Isabella Calef, Dillon Calef, Matthew, Morgan and Mitchell Mould; and his grandmother Gladys Lorraine Harris. He is also survived by his lifelong friends Jason Begiebing, Jarred Muir and Steven Rogers along with many aunts uncles and cousins. Ryan is predeceased by his father Leo F. Harris Jr. and his grandfather Leo Harris Sr. A celebration of life for Ryan will be held Sunday July 20, 2025 from 2-4pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT.
