Salima Jennifer Khan. She was born on November 27th, 1963. And passed away. At home in Queens, NY on July 4th, 2025. Salima was the daughter of Yasmin H Khan and polo Mohammed Khan. She was wonderful Sister to Sahira M Khan-Diaz and Zaid M Khan. Salima is the aunt of her two nephews that she loves dearly. Justin Thompson and Carl, A Khan. Salima will be missed by many families from Trinidad. To America and friends that she met along the way. Sally, her nickname is known to many, always reaches out to family and friends. Staying in touch and checking on them, Sally, you always have a smile at everyone and was very spiritual. person in her own way. Sally Spoke about what was on her mind, and she gave lots of advice. In our heart She will be greatly missed, and her memory will always be kept as the one we love and will never forget.
Salima's life will be celebrated with a visitation and prayers at Elmont Funeral Home on Friday, July 11, from 9 am to 11 am. Following the visitation, she will be cremated at All Souls Crematory in East Elmhurst, NY. Salima will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Her spirit of helping others will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to : St. Labre Indian School in Topeka, Kansas 66675-9809 where you can give online at www.stlabre.org/hope4kids 1-866-753-5496. Your generosity will continue in Salima's name, may she rest in peace.
