Sally Paulus Obituary

Sally Ann Paulus died on June 19, 2025. Sally was born in Toledo, Wash., to James and Evelyn Marshall on July 5, 1936. She attended Stadium High School in Tacoma, Wash., and graduated from the University of Puget Sound, where she met her future husband Michael J. Paulus, Sr. Sally was an elementary school teacher at a number of schools, and spent most of her career as a Kindergarten teacher at Bellevue Christian School. She also taught classes in children's literature at Northwest University. Sally's vocation and life were a witness to her love for Jesus, and she was always eager to share his love with others. Sally and Mike spent a majority of their working lives in Bellevue, Wash., where their only child, Michael J. Paulus, Jr., was born. After retiring, Sally and Mike moved to Gig Harbor, Wash., where Sally enjoyed leading Bible studies at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church and raising dahlias with Mike. She is survived by her son and his family: Michael, Vicki, Junia, and Elizabeth Paulus.
