Dearest Mama in Heaven. I miss you so much! Every single day I feel you envelop all around and inside my soul, helping me to be a strong woman. The world lost an amazing, vivacious, sassy, feisty, kind, loving loyal and most of all strong unbreakable woman. However, heaven gained an unending blessing, a true gift. May you forever dance the jitterbug with daddy in eternity. May you, once again, feel the warm, soft hugs and devoted unconditional love of your mama you lost as a child. May the reunion with your precious sisters and our dear babies in heaven be comforting and neverending. Hold them tight until we join you. I hope heaven is as amazing as you. If not, it is now! Enjoy God, His beauty and His agape love. Sing loudly, dance wildly and rejoice intently. Love you always and forever Sallye Bess. Until we meet again, Annalyn Bess.

Sallye Allen was my Aunt. She was my mother´s baby sister. I remember when Aunt Sallye was a teenager and living with our family in Little Rock. Did she ever keep the family entertained with her vivacious and gregarious personality. Her beauty at that time was astounding. I remember thinking she looked like the actress Loretta Young. My visits to Mississippi to visit were always events to look forward to, getting to spend time with both Aunt Sallye and Uncle Dave. What a handsome man Uncle Dave was and truly a man´s man. He always made our visits full of fun activities. I already miss Uncle Dave and now I will miss Aunt Sallye. Knowing she is in Heaven with my mother, Dixie, my Dad Lou, who was like her father, and all her loved ones. Aunt Sallye impacted my life and I will miss her.

We are so saddened at the loss of Mrs. Sallye! Comforted to know now that she rests in Heaven with Coach Dave, we pray for the family. A long life and blessing and victory... and leaning on God´s Guidance in their precious lives. We met them at a campsite in Mississippi in the 1980s... and enjoyed a sweet friendship for decades. May God continue to give the family His Measure of comfort, strength and peace. This is our heartfelt prayer for the days ahead! Love and prayers to all ...
