Sandra "Sandy" Kay Giorsetti Chavez
January 17, 1956 – June 14, 2025
Sandra "Sandy" Kay Giorsetti Chavez, age 69, of Winkelman, Arizona, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025. Born on January 17, 1956, Sandy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and joy touched the lives of all who knew her.
A devoted Registered Medical Assistant, Sandy dedicated her career to caring for others with compassion and kindness. Outside of her work, she was known for her infectious smile and laughter, her deep love for her family, and her incredible talents in the garden and kitchen. She found joy in cooking and baking for loved ones, and cherished every moment spent with family and friends.
Sandy is survived by her children, Charlotte McCutcheon and her husband Adam, and Richard Chavez and his wife Amy; her cherished grandchildren, Noah Chavez, Cooper Chavez, and Abby McCutcheon; and her brothers, Jeff (Christine) Giorsetti and William Giorsetti.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Jean Giorsetti and Provino "Pope" Giorsetti; and her brother, Richard Giorsetti.
Sandy's faith was a guiding light in her life, and she was a proud member of the Baptist church.
Sandy will be remembered for her big heart, her generous spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
