Sandra Jackson Obituary

Sandra Jane Owens Jackson, 79, of Rush, KY, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 28, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born April 1, 1945 at Ashland, KY a daughter of the late, Willie Austin "Bill" and Nell Ratcliff Owens. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by, her beloved husband of 48 years in 2012, Donald R. Jackson; a brother, Gary Owens and a sister, Carol Owens. Sandra was a member of Chadwicks Creek Baptist Church and was a part of the Hospitality Committee and taught Sunday School. Sandra was a loving mother and caregiver, and always had a heart for those in need. Sandra is survived by two sons, Greg (Betty Jo) Jackson of Berea, KY, David (Rebecca) Jackson of Rush, KY, four grandchildren, Jeremiah (Lauren) Jackson, Deborah Jackson, Alivia Jackson and Allison Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Connor Jackson and Lainey Jackson; and a sister, Wilma (Tarrence) Rehmel of Rush. A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Thursday January 30, 2025 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East with Bro. Leston R. Followay officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Malone Funeral Home in Grayson.
