Sandra D. Lee-Tucker, daughter of the late Sanders Wilborn, Jr and Maurice A. Pierce, was born May 19, 1949, in Atlanta, Georgia. She departed this life on Monday, August 4, 2025.

Sandra graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School and began her professional journey as a hairstylist before transitioning into the retail industry. She loved fashion, quality accessories, good food and traveling, especially to places where she could enjoy the warmth of the sun. She later pivoted her career and joined Arbella Insurance as a claims adjuster, where she dedicated 30 years of service before retiring in 2011. During her time at Arbella, she mentored many of her colleagues, leaving a lasting impact on those she worked with.

A devoted mother of two, Sandra later met Harrison Lee with whom she was married to for over 20 years and had one child. Following their separation, Sandra met Bradford Tucker, whom she married and spent the rest of her life with.
Sandra was deeply involved in her community. She was an active member of the PTA at her children's school and consistently promoted the importance of education, civil responsibility, and self-advocacy. A devoted mother, grandmother and aunt, she was also a passionate supporter of civil rights and participated in initiatives such as the March on Washington in 1963 and the Million Man March of 1995.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Charles T Wilborn. Sandra leaves her husband of 34 years, Bradford Tucker, to celebrate her life. Sandra is survived by her siblings, Rica A. Smallwood, her twin brother Sanders "Jackie" (Marcia Bell) Wilborn III, Antonio E. (Sharmini Davis) Pierce, Melissa Wilborn, and Angela Wilborn
Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Mario Wilborn, Sonja (Troy) Newsome, and Rahim (Darline) Lee. Sandra's legacy continues to live on with her 11 grandchildren: Joshua Culbreath, Mario Wilborn Jr, Sydney Carington, Manny Wilborn, Mya Wilborn, Samantha Carington, Sabrina Lee, Aaron Wilborn, Alexander Carington, Maliq Lee and Sasha Lee, as well as host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Her life was as radiant as a sunrise, and her influence will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Ernest and I had many fun and fond memories hanging out & enjoying Sandy and Brads company, that was sometimes out socially or in their home. She will be missed!
