Sandra Jean Robertson, a cherished soul known for her warm heart and nurturing spirit, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, at the age of 87 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on September 17, 1937, in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, Sandra was the beloved daughter of Houston Taylor Snow and Nellie Snow. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 10, 2025 in the Rush Springs Cemetery with Daryn Brantley officiating. Services are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services.
Sandra's life was one marked by devotion to her family and her faith. She was the loving wife of Woody Mack Robertson, whom she married on June 22, 1957, in her hometown of Rush Springs. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter until Woody's passing. A proud mother, Sandra is survived by her two sons, Aron Robertson and his wife Verenice, and Wesley Robertson and his wife Jacqueline. Her legacy continues through her three grandsons, Benjamin, Brandon, and Mason Robertson, who will carry forward her teachings and love.
Sandra was a graduate of Rush Springs Schools, where she laid the foundations of her lifelong love for learning and community involvement. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker, a calling she fulfilled with grace and dedication. Sandra's home was a sanctuary of warmth and care, not only for her family but for all who crossed her threshold.
A faithful member of the Southern Baptist Church of Rush Springs, Sandra found great joy in playing the organ and piano. Her musical talents were a staple during church services, and her voice, often raised in song, uplifted many. Sandra's passion for music was matched by her love for gardening. Her garden was a testament to her patience and the beauty she nurtured in the world.
Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Snow, and her sister, Jane White. Their memories and the values they shared remain a treasured part of her story.
Sandra's life was a tapestry of service, care, and unwavering faith. She was a beacon of love and stability, not only to her immediate family but also to the extended community that was fortunate enough to know her. Her gentle guidance and selfless nature were her gifts to the world, and her absence will be deeply felt by all.
