Sandra Jean Wing, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025 at Sparrow Hospital, due to complications from a stroke. Born on December 12, 1944, in St. Johns, Michigan, Sandra was the sixth of eight children of Paul and Alice (Sheldon) Orweller.

A graduate of Ovid High School, Sandra went on to work for General Motors, where she was employed for over twenty years. On June 18, 1991, she married Michael Wing, with whom she shared twenty-six wonderful years until his passing in 2017.

Sandra was known for her feisty spirit, frugal habits, and a heart full of kindness. She didn't mince words-always straightforward and honest-and her family admired her for it. A creative soul, she found joy in crafting beautiful, handmade holiday cards that have become treasured keepsakes among her loved ones.

She had a passion for collecting, with an eclectic mix that included coins, commemorative plates, stamps, Elvis memorabilia, and even vacuums. Sandra also enjoyed shopping and was always on the lookout for a good deal or something unique to add to her collections.

She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Fivecoat; grandchildren, Tyler Lowe, Tabitha Calderon, and Jessika Fivecoat; great-grandchildren; two sisters, Paula Roberts and Joyce Woodhams as well as nieces, nephews and extended family members. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wing; her son, Michael Fivecoat; and five siblings: Janice, Sharon, Gary, Leon, and Dean.

Services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to your local animal shelter.
