Sandra "Sandy Poo" Lynn Wood, 52, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1972, in Tulia, TX to Billy and Frances Cook Wood. Sandy was a 1994 graduate of Plainview High School. She enjoyed listening to music and being on the computer surfing the web. She loved her pets, spending time with family, and aggravating her brother. She was a big wrestling fan, enjoyed going out to eat, and traveling to visit family and friends. Everyone loved her, and she is going to be dearly missed. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents of Lubbock; her brother, Mark Wood and wife Shantal of Amarillo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Sandra was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, L.W. and Iris Juanita Cook, her paternal grandparents, L.W. and Mary Wood.
