Sandy Keelin Obituary

Sandra (Beaver) Keelin was born April 18, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to George and Lenora Beaver and entered into rest Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Carencro, Louisiana at the age of 82 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lenora Beaver; husband, Byron Keelin Sr.; and her siblings, Toni Thompson, Vernon Beaver, Dorothy Jones and Ronald Beaver.
She is survived by her children, Byron (Gail) Keelin Jr. and Bryan (Lesley) Keelin;
grandchildren, Amber, Zachary, Judah, Samuel, Zoe and Ebony; great-grandchildren,
Kahlayia, Endayah, Jah'ayna, Zahra and Atlas; and other extended family.
Sandy grew up in St. Louis Missouri. She started working at the age of 10 and retired for the third and final time at the age of 81. She was an office manager and an executive assistant at Lawrence Fabric Structures for 34 years. When she moved to Louisiana, she worked in the office at Eden Scapes for over eight years. Her work ethic was unmatched. She was the kind of employee every employer dreams of - and the kind of example we all strive to be. From her time in Missouri to her time here in Louisiana, she has served faithfully in whatever church she was posted in. She loved to make meals for people and write cards for birthdays, anniversaries, encouragement, & EVERY occasion possible. She loved looking for any occasion to celebrate people. And if she could throw in a cake and ice cream, that was an added bonus! Sandy was a lover of God and people and she was an example of a life well lived. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Ceremony at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. A private family hour will be held prior to the public visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, Missouri.
