Sarah E. Miller, 82, of Dover, Ohio, passed away at the Ohio's Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 following a short battle with cancer.
Sarah was born on November 9, 1942 to the late Eli E. and Abbie (Miller) Troyer. On October 29, 1964 she married Henry A. Miller, and he survives.
Sarah was a charter member of Grace Church in Berlin, she loved the Lord and her family. She was a homemaker and did house cleaning for 32 years. Sarah was a member of the Sugarcreek TOPS Group for 24 years and a longstanding KOPS within the group. She enjoyed visiting and playing cards with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Henry Miller; five children Floyd (Betty) Miller of Sugarcreek, Alma (Brian) Wengerd of Holmesville, Mabel (Dennis) Schrock of New Philadelphia, Wilma (William) Wisener of Virginia, and Ina (Mark) Mast of Berlin; fourteen grandchildren Lori Miller, Holly (Sam) Rohr, Kelly Mast, Dakota Mast, Alexis McCune, Kyle Schrock, Tyler Schrock, Will Wisener, Hannah (Austin) Perrigan, Sarah Wisener, Gavin Wisener, Trevor (Sophie) Mast, Hunter (Lexi) Mast, and Samantha (Tyler) Yoder; five great grandchildren with two more on the way; two sisters Katie Troyer of Mt. Hope, and Niva (late Raymond) Miller of Apple Creek.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Vesta (Raymond) Miller, Marie E. Troyer; and a brother Floyd (Mary) Troyer.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Grace Church in Berlin, Ohio with Pastor Larry Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 - 7 pm on Friday, June 20, 2025, and 10 to 11 am (one hour prior to the service) on Saturday all at the church.
