It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Scott Alan Braun, age 67 of Hortonville, Wisconsin, on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Scott was born on September 19, 1957 in Brainerd, Minnesota to the late Matthew and Phyllis (Sagness) Braun. He grew up in St. Peter, Minnesota and graduated from St. Peter High School. He then went on to earn a degree in Fluid Power from Alexandria Technical and Community College. His career in the field of Fluid Power brought him to the Appleton area and spanned over 40 years before retiring from Kundinger, Inc.

One of Scott's favorite things to do after work was to hop on his motorcycle for an evening ride. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman. He loved trapshooting with Brett and the entire Brooker family, shed beers with his favorite neighbor Travis, the Thursday night card group, cribbage, hunting, fishing, gardening, taking care of the Medina Cemetery, and cheering on his grandkids at their sporting events and concerts. Scott's favorite quote was, "I don't want a pickle, I just want to ride my motorcycle."

Scott is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tami Braun; sons, Chad (Mariah) Ervin, Cody (Andrea Mangold) Ervin, and Clint (Kristen) Ervin; grandchildren, Destiny, Makiya, Hayley, Jackson, Everly, Amara, Macy, Kayana, Cambria, and Julia; siblings, Mark (Lynn) Braun, Brian (Harriett) Braun, Kim (Mary Bang) Braun, and Debra (George) Lesnar; in-laws, Don (Linda) Rasner, Tami's parents, Teri (Jim) Korn, Tim (Hien) Rasner Traci (Brian) Wilson, and Todd Rasner. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Phyllis Braun of St. Peter, Minnesota.
