Sean J. Eddy, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at his residence in Hibbing, MN. He was born on September 30, 1970, in Chisholm, MN, to Clark Eddy and Ruby Benjamin.
He grew up in the town of Hibbing and attended Hibbing High School. Sean worked many jobs, but the majority of his early career was at Hibbing Electronics until they closed their doors in 2008. It was at this point he made a choice to go back to school to pursue his millwright diploma from Mesabi Range College. After successfully graduating the program (where he proudly achieved perfect attendance), he went on to work at United Taconite. Sean could be very stubborn at times but was known for his great sense of humor. He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, grouse hunting, spending time with his family and many friends, but most notably, putting as many miles on his motorcycles as he possibly could.
Sean is survived by his children, Jeff (Marcy) Eddy & Cheyenne Lippincott; siblings, Dan Lippincott, Ron Chyrklund; grandchildren, Ryan Eddy, Nathan Eddy & Liam Gilbertson; Cousin and close friend Fred Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clark & Ruby. A service for Sean will be held at a later date.
