Sharol Kaye Jackson, age 83, was called home to her eternal resting place on July 2nd, 2025. Sharol was born on February 16th, 1942, in Wausau, WI, the daughter of the late Rev. Lyle J and Alice (Hinz) Koenig. She was blessed with 2 children Kari Stern and Lynette Rehrauer.
Sharol a/k/a Sheri was a longtime and faithful member of Bethany church until she moved to Fort Collins, CO. May of 2021. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, camping, crocheting, taking lots of pictures and writing names and dates on back of those pictures( we thought, well why would you do that, but we appreciate this now) and just sitting outside on her bench to enjoy the warm weather and people watch. She was loved by the ones who knew her for her deep loving heart under the issues that controlled her every day.
Sharol is survived by her 2 children Kari Stern ( son-Aaron Hartzheim) and (son-Shane Hartzheim, wife Nicole Hartzheim and Tucker-1st great grandson) and Lynette (Scott) Rehrauer (son-Seth Rehrauer and his girlfriend MaKayla Mielke) and her siblings Wayne (Sharon) Koening (Fall Creek, WI), Joan (Fred) Rath (Tampa, FL) her nieces and nephews: Lisa, Shaun, Jodi, Ryan, Tiffiany and Fred, Sam and Sarah, Sam and 2 fur babies Max and Hooter. She is proceeded in death by her sisters, Corrine Hansen and Karen Bork, her long love in life Earl Jackson of 41 yrs.
A Celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, cards, Sharol a/k/a Sheri would appreciate donations sent to your local animal shelters.
