Sharon Elise Allen, 73, of Derry, NH, died Friday July 25, 2025, in Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. She was born on November 14, 1951 in Bayonne, NJ, a daughter of Robert and Lorraine (Trimerka) Edwards. Sharon proudly founded NHPleinAir Artist Group in 2013.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Allen; her daughter, Eleanor Allen and wife Rikki Dunn; one grandchild, as well as several extended family members and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A memorial service will follow at 6:30pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to https://www.gofundme.com/f/inspire-artists-donate-in-sharon-allens-name

Mike and family, my sincerest wishes to you all for peace and love during this sad time of grieving. Sharon was such a spunky gal and was so warm and welcoming to me in the plein air group. I was to glad to have met her and am sad it was for such a short time. She will be remembered in my heart for sure. May you all be blessed with peace and love.

Sending my condolences to Sharon´s family and friends. Our friendship began 30+ years ago when I lived in Nashua. We were mostly long-distant plein air art friends, but I will miss her generous "art talk" help and humor. She will be missed by me and the community of NH artists and beyond.

Mrs. Allen was my 8th grade teacher at Sacred Heart School Class of 1986. Always professionally tough and strict yet fair. She had a huge positive impact on our lives and instilled high academic standards in all of us.
My condolences to her entire family. Gone much to soon.
