It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sharon, age 57, who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, while in the care of her eldest daughter.
Sharon was a devoted school bus driver who cherished the children she transported, ensuring their safety and well-being with unwavering care.
Following her retirement, Sharon found immense joy in spending time with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren. She was the daughter of Jimmy Boles and Carolyn Golliher Grant. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn, her sister Carla, her daughter Mistie, and her husband, John Cofer.
Sharon is survived by her father, Jimmy (Karen) Boles, daughter Jamie Gibson(Patrick Green), son Jonathan Cofer, her beloved grandchildren:
Adyson Guy, Mylie Wicks, Carlee Voiles, Case Voiles, Kaelyn Voiles, Brooklyn Sexton and Kyzer Sexton, sister Marla (Wesley) Hale, brother, Keith Hughes; and her nieces and nephews: Micheal Boles, Joshua Sexton, Justin Sexton, Marly Sexton, Cari (Nick) Voiles. She was a woman of deep faith, Sharon was a member of the Baptist faith. Her kindness, warmth, and dedication will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at Roane Memorial Gardens. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Ms. Sharon Lynn Boles Cofer.
