Obituary of Sharon Louise Kessler
Sharon Louise Kessler (née Almquist), 68, of Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2024. Born to Margaret Thysse and Alex Almquist, Sharon lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Todd Kessler; her children, Erik and Kari Kessler; and her cherished grandchildren, Austyn and Alyssa Kessler. Her memory will be forever treasured by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her warmth and humor.
For 33 years, Sharon built a successful career in the insurance and financial service industry, spending 25 years at Thrivent and 8 years at ING. Her commitment to personal growth shone brightly when, at the age of 61, she earned her Medical Administrative Assistant A.A.S. degree with a 3.8 GPA.
Sharon was known for her vibrant personality and ability to light up any room. She had a gift for making people laugh and ensured that everyone felt included in any gathering. Her love for life was evident in the way she approached every event with enthusiasm and joy.
As a devoted mother and wife, Sharon's took great care of her loved ones, including her beloved pets, who held a special place in her heart. Her passion for gardening was reflected in the beautiful flower gardens she lovingly tended, bringing color and life to her home.
Sharon found joy in the simple pleasures of life - reading a good book, sharing gossip with friends, and caring for family. Her ability to not take herself too seriously and her knack for turning ordinary moments into memorable experiences will be deeply missed.
