Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 9, 2022 for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Green Lawn Cemetery.
Born to Helen Carroll in Columbus, OH December 23, 1949. At an early age, Sharon met the love of her life Don Amerson Ralls. They were married June 26, 1969 and shared A partnership lasting fifty years. Their union was blessed with four uniquely special children; David, Tone, Sherri and JeJuana.
She graduated from East High School and while having an overwhelming thirst for knowledge, Sharon continued to educate herself. This ultimately led to A fulfilling thirty-year career as an Administrative Supervisor with the Franklin County Department of Human Services. Known affectionately by the neighborhood children as "Auntie Sharon," our Matriarch had an enormous and loving heart. She especially adored her five-year-old granddaughter Skylar who called her "YaYa." Sharon was extremely intelligent and loved to read novels. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age, and was A longtime member of New Salem Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Don Ralls, Mother Helen Carroll, special and loving nieces Ebony Carroll and Meisha Goods, very special Aunt Gladys Moore, cousins Norma Lockhart, Lois Rutherford and Harvey Moore.
She will be forever cherished in the hearts of her children; David (Cherrie), Tone, Sherri and JeJuana, Grandchildren Jamel Ralls and Skylar Ralls, Sisters Pamela G. Carroll and Stacey D. Carroll, Sister-in-law Patricia "Tish" Shields, nieces Lisa Ralls, Barbara Taylor, Cherie Cooper and Journey Taylor, very special nephews; Jalen Carroll, Kahalil and Jalil Hunter, John Ralls, Kevin Shields, special cousins Anita Rutherford and Karen (Mark) Miller. Lifelong devoted friends Corieta Brower, Nona Hollingsworth, Linda Walfford, Janette Upshaw and A host of other Family and Friends.
