Sharon Wilson, age 73 of West Bend, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish - Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in West Bend. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Lentz Funeral Home in West Bend. Burial will take place at West Bend Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Lentz Funeral Home of West Bend.
Sharon Marie Wilson, daughter of Warren and Ruth (Van Deusen) Dodd was born on August 24, 1951, at the nursing home in Britt Iowa. She graduated from Gilmore City-Bradgate High School in 1969. She graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg, Iowa. She was employed by West Bend Health and Rehab/Prairie Creek Assisted Living for many years.
She was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Wilson on June 5, 1982, at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church in West Bend.
Sharon enjoyed gardening, puzzles, playing cards and games with her family and making her families favorites for Sunday dinners.
Left to cherish Sharons memory are her husband of almost 43 years, Bob of West Bend; children, Christina (Daniel) Potthoff of West Bend, Rob (Toni) Wilson of West Bend, Wendy Wilson of West Bend and Holly (Greg) Kollasch of Algona; Grandchildren, Bryana (John) Gustafson, Aurora, Joshua, Reily and Kolten Potthoff, Tyeson Wilson, Tyler Kollasch, Jasmyn, Mercedes and Lincoln Zinnel; Great Granddaughters Scarlett Gustafson and Harper Holt; sisters Evelyn (Jim) Wilson and Cathy Peters and brother-in-law Roy Heller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren & Ruth Dodd, brother Warren Dodd, sister Mary Heller, nephew Justin Heller, Mother & Father-in-law Virgil & Bertha Wilson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
