Sherri Dawn Biesheuvel-Zent, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world to begin her new journey on July 3, 2025, in Odessa, Texas. Born on September 13, 1963, in Billings, Montana, Sherri's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to her family.
Sherri's early years were spent in the scenic expanses of Montana, where she graduated from Forsythe High School. Her high school days were filled with music as she skillfully played the clarinet in the band and contributed her talents as the manager of the basketball team. These formative years laid the foundation for the remarkable woman she would become.
For over 35 years, Sherri dedicated herself to the oilfield industry, working in various roles with steadfast dedication and excellence. Her professional life was characterized by the same warmth and generosity that she brought to every aspect of her life.
Sherri's heart found its match in Terry Zent, her beloved husband of 45 years. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Joshua Zent and Jacki Zent, and they delighted in the joy brought by their granddaughter, Zianah, the daughter of Joshua and his wife, Kaleen.
Family was the cornerstone of Sherri's world, and she is lovingly remembered by her husband, children, and granddaughter. Her legacy continues through her brothers, John and Terry Biesheuvel, and her sisters, Karen and Jody. A host of cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive her, each carrying a piece of Sherri's spirit in their hearts. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harlin and Delcy Biesheuvel, and her siblings, Danny Biesheuvel and Roberta Norton.
Sherri's zest for life was evident in her many passions. A talented crocheter, she created countless pieces that will serve as warm reminders of her love. Her garden was a testament to her patience and nurturing spirit, and her love for word games kept her mind sharp and her company delightful. Sherri's fondness for sweets and coffee was well-known, as was her favorite phrase, "I Love You," which she shared generously with all.
Her inner beauty shone brightly through her acts of kindness, which were as natural to her as breathing. Sherri's spunky spirit and vivacity made her the life of every gathering, leaving behind a trail of laughter and cherished memories from numerous road trips and family reunions.
Sherri Dawn Biesheuvel-Zent was the embodiment of love, kindness, and generosity. Her caring nature was her guiding principle, and her go-to mentality was always to uplift and support those around her. She was a beacon of light in the lives of many, and her absence will be deeply felt.
A Memorial Service for Sherri will be held at 2pm, Friday, July 11, 2025 at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and condolences may be sent online to the family at acreswestfuneral.com.

Sherri was without a doubt the most awesome person, her love for everything and every single one she met especially children. Always loved babies. And my grandsons was how we had the privilege to know her Brandon and Bryce. Brandon“s best friend Josh her son . And Bryce was a baby. My daughter Suzy was setting on her porch with her baby letting him enjoy the sun one day when Sherri brought her other son ohm from school . And Sherri saw the baby and the rest is history. It was love at first sight for both of them and she became his godmother. Now all grown up all three of the boys , but it still feels like a fairy tale story to me , the purest form of love. Sherri you are already so missed by every one that ever had the privilege of knowing you, and with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes I must say I will see you again someday honey rest in the almighty arms of our god .
