She was born March 4, 1965, in Marshall, Missouri; daughter of William Fred and Sharon Lynn Rieks Bargfrede. On September 10, 1993, in Sweet Springs, Missouri, she married Richard Riley, Sr. who preceded her in death.
Sherrie worked for Rival Manufacturing in Sweet Springs for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing on her tablet and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was survived by a son, Justin Riley, Carrollton, Missouri; a step son, Richard Riley, Jr., Indiana; a step daughter, Dana Rolling, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Bargfrede, Sweet Springs, Missouri; William Bargfrede, Jr, Norborne, Missouri; two sister, Pam Garner, Marshall, Missouri; Dorothy Robison, Sweet Springs, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and many grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a step son, Russell Riley.
A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Blind Pony Lake in Sweet Springs, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bittiker Funeral Home.
