Shirley Broomhead Obituary
Shirley Ann (Nash) Broomhead of Middleboro died in her daughter's home following a battle with cancer. A patriotic woman, Shirley died on July 4, 2025 (Independence Day). She was 83.
She was born on January 12, 1942 in Boston, daughter of the late George and Jane (Smith) Nash. An independent woman of strong work ethic, Shirley worked as a restaurant manager for many years.
With her strong personality, discussing politics and current events kept her mind active and in touch. She believed in justice, had the ability to forgive easily and had a tender heart for those less fortunate.

Sister of George Nash, Jane Brennan, Barbara Nash and Richard Nash. Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a verified charity or organization that is assisting the Texas flooding victims and their families.
