Sigmund Kenneth Kuczynski "Ken"; Age 89 of Shelby Township, Michigan passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at home with his family.
He was born on March 15, 1936, to Adam and Virginia Kuczynski (nee: Burzynski) in Detroit Michigan.
Committal services with U.S Airforce military honors will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 in the chapel at Mt Olivet Cemetery, 17100 Van Dyke Avenue, Detroit Michigan 48234.
Beloved father of Jacqueline (Alfred) Gryn, Kenneth (Nina) Kuczynski. and the late Theresa (Thomas) Paruszkiewicz. Dear brother of Paul Kuczynski and the late Joanne Kuczynski. Proud grandfather of Juliet, Elizabeth, and Michael. Uncle of Paul Kuczynski, Jr.
Ken was formerly married to the late Patricia (nee: Burns) with whom he shared the joy of raising their three children.
Ken proudly served in the US Air Force and earned a National Defense Service Medal before his honorable discharge on December 11, 1957. He spent many years working in the military defense industry. Ken enjoyed travelling, camping, gardening, reading, and spending time with his family. He will especially be remembered for his love of story telling and superior Polish cooking skills.
