Stanislaw (Stan) Cpak, 68 of Washington Township, Michigan passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19th, 2025 at Corewell-Troy hospital from medical complications following an accident in the home. Stan was born in Lublin, Poland on March 25th, 1957 to Zenobia (Suchora) Cpak and Henryk Cpak. Upon completion of his education in Poland, Stan emigrated to the United States in 1978. In 1980, Stan married his lifelong partner and loving wife, Halina (Pikula) Cpak.
Stan was a dedicated, hard-working father, who retired from his position at Chrysler as a journeyman machine repairman. Retirement gave Stan time to dedicate to his hobbies and grandchildren. Stan was an avid reader, sudoku puzzle solver, and as he called it, a "bee-holder" not a bee-keeper. His best times were spent outdoors, introducing his grandchildren to The Three Stooges and Charlie Chaplin movies, and time spent with those he loved. He was quick with a joke, and was known for his unmistakable laugh.
Stan is survived by his wife of 45 years, Halina Cpak. His children Michelle (Steven) Cincotta and Matthew (Kathryn) Cpak, and his grandchildren, Olivia, Aleksandra, Isabella, Sofia, and Helena. His brother Krzysztof (Iza) Cpak and nephew Krzysztof Cpak and niece Agnieszka Cpak. Cousins Elzbieta Stepniak and Mieczyslaw Wszelaki, and great-aunt Czeslawa Latkowski. Stan was fortunate to have married into a large, loving family. Through his wife Halina, the families of Danuta Bulic, Gustaw (Lottie) Pikula, Wesley (Carolyn) Pikula and George (Nancy) Pikula and their children, Stan's life was full of love and warm memories.
Visitation will be held at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo, Michigan), on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 11:00am - 3:00pm.
